PRICING

All prices listed are current for the 2026-2027 financial year.

All fees must be paid in full upfront to secure your booking and there are no refunds if you cancel or postpone your appointment after booking. 

We do not accept payment plans or delayed payment arrangements as our generosity has seen us burned in the past. Except for group classes (which can be booked directly online), you will be invoiced via an electronic invoice sent after our intake form has been completed.

IN-HOME BEHAVIOUR CONSULTATIONS

In-home behaviour consultations are suitable for dogs experiencing behaviour problems such as aggression, reactivity, resource guarding, separation distress, fear of being handled, and similar. Our in-home behaviour consultation services and their respective pricing are as follows.

 

Initial consultation (includes non-tailored resources only): $220

Add a tailored report specific to your dog: + $75

1.5 hours in your home or via Teams

The purpose of an initial consultation is to enable us to gather information about your dog and their behaviours of concern. This helps us to understand your dog’s behaviour and why it is likely to be occurring, so that we can develop a suitable plan to improve their behaviour. We cannot implement training which is likely to be successful until we have undertaken this exercise. Initial consultations are 1.5 hours in length and can be undertaken in your home or via Teams as appropriate. Within approximately one week of your initial consultation, you will be provided with general written resources relevant to your dog’s behaviour. We strongly recommend that you also take your own notes during this session.

 

For an additional fee, we can prepare summary notes from your session which are specifically tailored to your dog. Timing for provision of these notes will be subject to availability, as we regularly support families with complex and high risk dogs who need our urgent, prioritised help (e.g. dogs facing rehoming or behavioural euthanasia, or who have been reported to council or become subject to court proceedings).

 

Subsequent consultations: $135 each

1 hour in your home or elsewhere as agreed

Subsequent ​consults are where we work on substantive behaviour modification, and teach you how to implement the management and training which we have recommended. Each subsequent session will cover one particular element of your dog’s training to ensure you walk away with a clear, comprehensive understanding of next steps. You may receive additional handouts and resources (not tailored notes) as appropriate after a subsequent consultation, if indicated by your behaviour consultant.

Additional reports or letters: $75 each

We are often asked to prepare reports or letters for various entities, including councils, veterinary behaviourists, and vets. We are happy to provide such reports subject to availability, for the above specified additional fee.

IN-HOME PUPPY TRAINING, GENERAL MANNERS SUPPORT, OR PRE-PUPPY CONSULTATIONS

In-home services are also available for dogs without serious behaviour challenges, where you would like to fine-tune their training or seek puppy-related advice.

All such consultations are $135 each and are 1 hour in your home or elsewhere as agreed.

Please note initial manners or puppy consultations include provision of non-tailored resources, such as handouts. They do not include tailored notes specific to your dog.

WALK-AND-TRAIN AND DAY TRAINING

Walk-and-train and day training services are available as a support service for clients with difficult dogs. We can walk your dog for you if you require respite or extra support, or visit your home to complete some behaviour modification with your dog while you are at work. These services are however not a complete solution for complex behaviour problems.

 

Before you start walk-and-trains or day training with us, we must first complete an initial behaviour consultation so we can assess your dog's behaviour and develop a plan to help you work through it. The cost for this is as outlined above.

Our prices for walk-and-train and day training services are:

  • 30 minutes - $60 each

  • 45 minutes - $75 each

  • 60 minutes - $85 each
